As an award winning Indiana watercolor artist who specializes in human portraits and animals. Many years ago she began painting with oils and acrylics. After a long hiatus, she found a new passion in watercolor. The human face has always been her favorite subject and challenge, though she enjoys depicting life and nature in all it’s amazing and beautiful forms. She loves the fresh vibrant appeal that watercolor uniquely offers.
“During the work week, I’m a full-time church secretary. I believe God has resurrected my artistic passion, and I want to nurture it and honor Him with my work. I am always on the look-out for an interesting subject. I especially like the challenges of painting the human face. It is a blessing to find something that brings me joy, relaxation, and creative balance. I hope others will find something about my work that stays with them.”
